Off-Campus Programs
Carroll College also recognizes several outstanding programs here in the United States.
The Washington Semester program at American University includes a four-credit internship in the public, private or nonprofit sectors of Washington. D.C.
The Washington Center program includes an internship of at least 30 hours per week supplemented by enrollment in a single course during the semester.
The Wisconsin Universities program, conducted during a six-week summer term, concentrates the study of the United Nations in a two-week intensive course at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, followed by a four-week session in New York City. Students participating in this program earn six credits that may be transferred to Carroll.
Up with People: is a 6-month global education program offering international travel opportunities to youth ages 18 to 29. Leadership development, community service learning, music performance, cultural appreciation, and civic engagement are at the core of the program. These concepts are developed as international students from over 25 countries travel together and visit North America, Asia, and Europe over the 6- month program.
As a Carroll College student, you have the unique opportunity to study abroad for a semester with Up with People and earn 16 semester hours of academic credit towards graduation!
