Carroll University offers a bachelor’s degree in applied physics through the physics program. This major includes all the courses that are common to the first three years of every engineering curriculum. Applied physics majors are well prepared to go on to earn a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering at an institution that offers an accredited engineering degree.
Additionally, through the 3+2 engineering program, the applied physics major may be completed by taking three years of courses at Carroll, followed by two more years at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. A well-prepared student may thereby earn both bachelors degrees in a total of five years. They will receive a bachelor of science degree from Carroll in applied physics and a bachelor of science degree from UW-Platteville in engineering (either mechanical or electrical).
